Odoo 13 – CRM Manage Leads & Opportunity

Odoo CRM is the Customer Relationship Management module within the Odoo platform. Odoo CRM is a powerful and easy-to-use app. Its suite of applications includes lead management, sales automation, marketing campaign management, and business reporting features. Odoo CRM also features marketing campaign management that helps users design marketing campaigns for lead generation and brand promotional activities.

Odoo is one of the most popular Opensource Enterprise applications for CRM. Odoo CRM manages the leads, opportunities, and customers of our organization and to simply track the workflow from the starting to the end in a sale.

Lead management is the process of tracking and managing prospective customers.

Configuration:

First of all, now you can install the CRM module in your database.

 

At that time you can configure lead strategy in the CRM module.

Go to CRM->Configurations->Settings-> tick the checkbox of Leads and click on the Save button.

 

Now you can generate leads under CRM modules.  Go to CRM -> Leads menu and click on the Create button.

 

Now Let’s see how to create a lead for a Quotation for 50 chairs. The Lead may be like below:

Now you can fill the following fields like name of the lead, probability,  company name, address, website language, salesperson, sales team, contact name, email,  job position,  phone,  mobile, priority, tags, etc.

To Convert Lead into Opportunity.

After filling all information now you can to convert this lead into task click on the button Convert To Opportunity from the lead form.

 

Now you can convert the leads into opportunity. here you can change the

Convert to the opportunity button will give us a wizard-like below. Here we can change the customer, merge duplicate leads, change the salesperson, sales team, etc.

 

We can see the lead is converted from the opportunity. Now you can view the record is listed in the opportunity pipeline. Now you can drag it to the next stage based on the development of the lead like E-mails, calls, demo, etc.

 

Whenever you want to know the full detail of any opportunity in Pipeline by clicking on its Kanban view. At that time you can view all the stages of the pipeline via the opportunity that should pass.  There are various stages in the pipeline like new, qualified, preposition, won & lost.

 

When you click on the Mark as Won button then you can go to the next step that confirms payment, quotation sending, etc.

When you click on the Mark as Lost button then you can not go to the next step and you can be lost the leads or opportunity.
